Why is it that everyone dreads, fears, remorses death when that is the most blatant and absolute truth and predictable in most cases?

If you are born, death is certain! Why is it that everyone dreads, fears, remorses death when that is the most blatant and absolute truth and predictable in most cases? Why not celebrate death!

    Dec 17 2011: I think because it is pretty much the only thing that is inevitable, it causes people to fear it since they know it's coming, and it's obviously the end of time (on earth that is) it is dreaded.
