What kind of movies do you prefer to watch, those designed to entertain or serious films? What are your top 3 favorites?

All of us enjoy watching either serious movies that make us think, or funny and amusing movies that entertain us. Personally, I like to watch primarily serious movies because I learn a lot. How about you? What are your top three favorite films? What did you appreciate about them in a sentence?
