Can Animals Be Homosexual Or Bisexual?
Human beings can be homosexual or bisexual.
And so can be animals, especially mammals. (to my logical thinking and perception)
Can they actually be attracted to the same sex or both sexes?
Is it possible for the animals to have descendants from opposite sex but are sexually engaged to those of same sex?

And yes, homosexuality is commonplace in the animal kingdom. I don't have any reference to documentaries, I've just read about reccords of this kind of behaviour. In some species, homosexuality is more frequent than in others.
The bonobos, for instance, are basicaly bisexual.
In the case of humans and bonobos, sex is more than reproductive. Bonobos use sex for different social purposes. Humans use sex to strenghen couples, so humans make love litterally.
It's easy to see how humans are more likely to be gay for this reason. Reproductive purpose is only a fraction of our sex life.
I love when bigots claim that homosexuality is not natural, since a gay couple cannot reproduce. I love this cause they're missing the whole beauty of human sexuality : the purpose of creating love.
They're actually reducing sex to dog-like reproduction. So ironic...

I did not consider human beings as animals although in fact, they are in the animal kingdom. That is the reason why I stated in the caption that they are separated (human and animals) since I think human beings have higher degree of intelligence, wider capabilities and a more sensitive sense of love; compared to those of animals.
Howsoever, I do agree with you about the purpose of human sexuality. Because indeed, it has been a common issue everywhere around us and proven to be true according to the Research done by a Stanford Sexologist as I read it from an article.
I honestly pity those who don't understand the true meaning of human sexuality.

in our societies, intelligence is developed, we must be intelligent if not you're an idiot..it's a context. And there is always anthropocentrism, but if you was an elephant you would think the horn is the best thing what the world has created, and elephant would be higner than others animals.
Here a link of wikipedia on homosexuality in the animals : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual_behavior_in_animals

Human beings are not only the most intelligent living creatures on this planet but also "have higher degree of intelligence, wider capabilities and a more sensitive sense of love; compared to those of animals." And this is based on scientific research and stated by Protagoras that man is the measure of all things. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protagoras)
So, I do not made up my opinion by subjectivity purely, but also reality. Thanks for the link input, Raphaël! :-) means a lot.
