What Did Your TEDTalk Teach YOU?

To everyone who has given a TEDTalk at a TED or TEDx Conference:

I'd like to pick your brains about the experience of delivering your TEDTalks. What did you learn? What do you wish you had done differently? What advice do you have to give to the next wave of TED Speakers?

Personally: I wish I had paced across the stage less and spent more time looking in to the eyes of the audience. Also, having my slot later in the conference caused perpetual nervousness throughout the conference. It is incredibly important not to let the pressure of your TEDtalk take away from your overall TED experience. Lastly, David Deutsch told me just before my TEDTalk that TED "is the best audience. They laugh at all your jokes. They REALLY want you to succeed." I cannot agree more.
