Oct 15 2011: Sounds like a great idea and you wold need every government and educational body in every country to buy into it and give the degree the same level of credibility that it does those earned from the local universities and colleges. Not impossible but a very hard job. I have heard comments about people who got on line degrees and credentials and the general attitude is that the degree is not as valued. You would need a world wide governing body over education that designs curriculum and graduation requirements. I can see that being fraught with fraud, cronyism, protectionism and a million other flaws. A good thought just really hard to implement in a way that would be fair to all people and relevant to all nations.
