The ability to push Atoms apart

Now, i'm no scientist. But what if you were to expand, or inflate a vast amount of atoms until they are extremely close to their bursting point and then simply moved them apart. Would one have the ability to "Pass through walls".Or would this be something similar to the fictional "Slip-space" technology. I know I'm just a kid and I don't know if this is even possible without ending life. But if we were able to do this, it would completely change the way people look at technology.Suddenly there would be a whole new section of science to be studied and tested. Which would in turn lead other minds to think of ways we could use it. The possiblities are endless. But before I get my hopes up, is this even possible?
