I am calling on all people to share ideas, films, photographs, songs, paintings, stories, documentaries on the topic how to wage peace.

Let’s share our ideas together & focus on trying to figure out a tangible plan with road-maps to peace on Earth. I would like to extend an open invitation to everyone on Earth to do anything they can to promote world peace, a global truce and cease fire. Any positive action helps from the small to the large. You may wish to have conversations about how to attain peace, wear a peace pin or T shirt, hang a poster or banner, give a lecture, or create an original work that can be shown on the internet or in public. The message should be a positive, hopeful, inspirational and informative, containing ideas that may lead humanity on the right road. Lets all flood the internet and the world with great ideas and projects for peace. Advocacy may help in creating a stronger momentum toward peace.

We may promote different ideas on how we can all do fun things together and improve our relations with each other. We are after all we are really one big family having several family feuds that have been going on way too long already. Its time to get past fighting, killing and war and begin to work on paving the road ahead together.

We have to realize that we may wind up contributing to an extinction of life on Earth. How many human lives have been lost at the hand of another human since the dawn of civilization? What good is wining a war if we lose the planet?

We have a new opportunity to create peace for the first time in human history, lets take it. I hope all nations compete to become #1 on the Global Peace Index.

It is important for people find their inner peace as well as peace in their families, communities and country.

I think a 1st step toward peace is for each person to take an inventory of themselves to see their part in promoting conflict, or not doing enough to prevent it.

We need to make amends to each other on an individual basis & between one country to the next, saying I'm sorry, please forgive.

      Sep 3 2011: I pray for unity and peace among the human race where we get together and begin to help save the environment and our own lives. We hope and pray for good and caring leaders that would do the right thing for humanity and the planet as a whole however leaders may not act for the good of humanity but rather for self centered interests. It is very important to realize that often absolute power corrupts absolutely and severe abuse may reign unstoppable. Even world tribunals can be mislead by powerful and corrupt leaders. The ideal may be meant with good intention but the reality may become something quite different.

        Sep 3 2011: Michelle, I see your point but this is to come about with time. When the governments of the world will have a definitive and general consultation, realizing that the problems are so profound and generalized that only some spiritual/moral solutions are viable. A time when the majority of humanity will come to the conclusion that without spiritual foundations we cannot survive. This will be brought about by a change of mind and attitude. We must not give way to total desespair. As a child moves along with age, mentally and spiritually, society can. It's a matter of education, mostly. No ?

    Sep 1 2011: Thanks for writing. I checked out the website. The film looks very interesting and hopefully the positive messages will have an impact on the viewers and the world. Please let us know when it is released. You said that you are open to ideas and initiatives and welcome all participation. I would be interested in participating. What time of participation are you looking for. I would be like to preview the film screening and give you feedback. I would be very interested in seeing the" political paradigm shift experienced by people of the 21st century and outlines a participatory plan for America's involvement including a proven pathway to the actualized creation of world peace." that is put forward in the film. Will you be showing a preview? If so where and when?

    Aug 31 2011: My suggestion is to read the book "The Story of Ferdinand" (1936) by American author Munro Leaf to a child. Better yet, buy it for them.

In another time line countries band together to exploit new resources and make sacrifices to reduce waste. You can show people that when people unite problems are easy to solve. When people fight problems get worse.

      Sep 1 2011: I really think this is a great idea. I would like to put it out there to you and the TED Community as a whole, like a wish, to see if we as a group can work together to make this idea of creating a movie as Jaeyun Hwang suggests:

In another time line countries band together to exploit new resources and make sacrifices to reduce waste. You can show people that when people unite problems are easy to solve. When people fight problems get worse.

      Hopefully we can get the message out that we must go green, sustainable and peaceful in order to survive.

        Sep 1 2011: I don't think I have the talent to do that. It would take a long time and would require an editor to edit both the story line and the credibility factor. Plus i am no good at portraying peoples foibles and unique characters.
