Satellites that vary the sunlight for light transmission of data.

If large of proportional sized satellites with very huge data storage capacity using the storage of information in a bacteria in a Geo-stationary orbit would help data transmission i.e providing internet only at daytime with asynchronous data transfer would help people in the IT profession or any person using computer or any device to access internet throughout the night and hence making their working pretty not hazarding their health and lifestyle.

Pros: Call centers of a company cannot be incorporated else where :) not a negetive aspect but something to be taken under consideration.
Cons:Better health of IT people, stable lifestyle, less hazard caused being awake all night, AT LAST MAKING LIFE SIMPLE and EASY forcing them to work only till light is available.

Altering according to moon light could credit things for some extent.

PS: Please correct me if I'm wrong not in a harsh way.

    Sep 13 2011: Sid, we can make it possible in many levels and in certain steps. If you're interested further in developing the idea, I would suggest you scour the web like wikipedia and scientific journals and of course professor Haas' work. You can develop this as you go on with your studies.

    My interest right now is converging sustainable projects and it caught my interest because your idea seems to have great potential.

    What do you think about the direction of your ambition as you relate it to your hopes for your family, community and the world? Do you think there is something we can do starting from your perspective?

      Sep 14 2011: Yes I do thing this will help my family community and the world in the way of better connectivity no pollution.. Of course maintenance would cost a lot but according to our technological advancement I think linking a robot with material duplication could help reducing the maintainability effort less than expected. The 3D modelling is already an idea under discussion in NASA. A pretty good modelling so that a robot could drive along the various parts of the spacecraft. And only thing is varying sun light thats a huge and major thing to be studied. Altering sun light should not cause any problem in any living things in the ground or in air. It would be disasterous even a single species is affected.. But affecting in which manner should also be considered. It gonna be huge while implementation even testing would cost but a success would benefit everyone irrespective of the economic stand, Even people in ships could contact anyone without any problem and in high clarity. The intensity of sun light is also so powerful than an LED, never to mention the speed of light which is times greater than an electron and could be more accurate without any disturbance of any magnetic of electric field. An obstacle would be a problem which is at times not at all a problem. Advancement of this technology will bypass that problem by finding the location of the receiver and transmitting the light to that receiver by the available light with the use of a harmless wifi would be a removal of necessity of worrying about being inside closed wall or where this communication technology cannot reach. Prolonged production with demand and help from non profiltable organizations throughout the world could make it cheaper even for any African(People in Africa) to afford with such a sustainable communication system.

      Sep 12 2011: I say why not. try this in a country, the above things are not impossible.. It moreover improves the lifestyle of IT people like me. At night it won't get completely cut off but rather too slow, you know the mentality of humans if there is better at one time than the other we prefer the better than using the slow of sluggish one.. It might require a lot of engineering and debates over the mentality of IT people and other public affected by it.. To top it all its completely eco friendly.. more research and more improvement in it..

          Sep 12 2011: Pardon me for the ignorance but I couldn't get you properly insights in the sense? How to implement or how this affects us other animals and us or in what sense? According to me he has experimented it using LED light but I say something that could do with sun rays should also be tried, a robust instrument. I wish I could but I am not proficient in optical physics I was discussing subject like this with my friend but he just turned a deaf ear towards this and mine was pretty silly though (in my 12th grade and obviously should be) and since this one matches the exact purpose I wanted to see it in action.
