    Funny about the falling star comment. My friend from Belgrade, Serbia was here visiting me, and she saw a falling star for the first time in her life. One memory she will never forget!

    As for me having SEEN many falling stars ;-), my dream place(S) to live are 6 months where I am now in my small, sleepy, beachside town, and the other 6 in the bustling, neversleeping, cuuture-packed city of flowers Belgrade, Serbia. AND if things go as planned, it will be happening in 2013! LUCKY me!!!! :-)

    Why?Mainly because this is just perfect place for rock climbing,the life is simple and I have a lot of friends ....I think the best place is that place where you can really enjoy what you do...

        You are right, that people often prefer to be someplace different...doing something different...with somebody different...etc.

        The thing is, when we spend our time and energy on those thoughts, then we miss the here and now. It's not a bad thing...just a choice in every moment:>)

    Aug 21 2011: If were are talking about a place on earth, I would love to be in Bahamas, we never heard nothing bad is happening in Bahamas, of course, with the man of my dream, for sure !!

    If were are talking about a place outside the earth, I would love to be in the stars, almost like beeing a star, so that I can look at all the beauty of it !

    Aug 20 2011: It's a nice question where u bring ur busy schedule of daily life to a halt and like to ponder on ur dreams.For me I would like to live in a place which is serene and u feel that u and only u r with the nature,the place brings that inner peace of the soul,it is not exploited by humans in name of development,even if it is inhabited by locals they should not have lost their innocence with the worldly matter.Let me cut it short, anywhere in the Himalayas.

    Aug 20 2011: Definitely somewhere like Italy, Paris, or London. All contain beautiful history and captivating culture that really makes you feel like youre a part of something important. the lifestyle is so laidback and I bet the feeling you get living in a big city is a feeling that cant be beat. Of course, thats coming from me, because I live in a suburb of a city in Ohio so I have always imagined what it would be like to live in a big city.

My confusions ,doubts, questions will be answered easily. It is equipped with instruments ,equipments, softwares ,books to solve todays problems. In addition new process ,new ideas, new thinking’s can be developed. I think one can use his full capacity by being there

    Aug 19 2011: New York City. I am a poet, and I was in New York last summer. An experience I found to be inspiring and energizing. It was amazing to see for a small town kid like myself. It's an amazing place to write and I hope, after this last year of high school, live.

      Aug 20 2011: You should try the Canadian Rockies. I have been to places that you can only get to by helicopter and its a three day walk out. The only people you might see is an Outward Bound group or the Forest Service flying over making sure you don't make a mess.

        Aug 20 2011: I think more of a human place, a temple or catacombs hidden forgotten, a place where history was made but never put on record. My dad was telling me about these tunnels under Jerusalem which no one is allowed too explore. Or maybe a cave where our species first learned to be something more...

      Aug 21 2011: Hi, Joe. :) I can only say that I've just been there ... Jeravna, Bulgaria; There's a festival of national costumes going on for 3 days in this old town and no one is allowed to wear anything but authentic national clothes of any country! It's pretty colorful, fun and interesting to be around. :) But there are too many people, of course. :)

    Aug 18 2011: I would like to visit Bavaria, the land of my ancestors. I would backpack from the Rhineland to the Borderlands of Eastern Europe. I would then learn how divine the land really is, and how blessed I am to be part of the culture.

    Aug 17 2011: Carmello, Uruguay. A cross between Tuscany and Provence. On stressful days I close my eyes and take an armchair trip to Carmello. Funny how some places we visit stick inside of our bones forever.

    Aug 17 2011: Wherever I am is great! I have lived in a few countries and visited quite a few for shorter periods. All places being varied and unique in characteristics, some truly beautiful and some quite scary, some extremely busy and some eerily abandoned. But all interesting. I do have a preference for the serenity of nature and rural areas.

      Aug 19 2011: Enes, sorry for the racism ... before I would have had trouble believing you but too many people have told me about this. I have lived overseas for many years now but I am still ashamed of my people's prejudices - sorry!

      I have found Turkish people both in Turkey and overseas to be nothing but very friendly, kind and generous.

I love everyone in here, even i have appointment with Aussie family on sunday, which we just know each other from Qantas airplane to Singapore and then to Istanbul. Now we would like to meet. What im saying about the racism is, "some: university students in here, they are so mean with Asians. That makes me sad. Even in library people slanging match through the desk writing. Im trying to do everything to stop it, Even im erasing some, im doing my best as an Eurasian, i dont have problem with them. I havent seen bad things from them, but as I said they are mean to "them" and Thanks for your kindest behave. Hope you are doing up there very well.

    Aug 17 2011: There are many places I've been but I'm not sure that's as relevant as the RELATIONSHIP between me and the place(s). Magical moments required a lot of me. The way I was at those 'special times' was as important as the place surrounding me.

    I guess it's the difference between going to the wedding of a friend of a friend and eating too much at the reception versus one's own wedding day.... Still, being married in a tawdry Vegas wedding chapel in front of an image of Elvis would certainly not be conducive to creating a magical moment (at least for me).

    Those who have narrowly escaped death know that just seeing a high tension power line outside one's window with the sound of crows cawing can be incredible .... since one is simply and powerfully STILL ALIVE.

For example, I consider my place to be the mountain but still it's up to one's choice and feeling where to go and what to do! Thanks for the good point there - it's important just to be in the moment and to have fun living!

    Aug 17 2011: I always wanted to be with Nature, some island where there is nothing but a great harmony and love between the living and non living. Sharing the same space with great respect to each other and creating a better place to live. A place where there is no limit to my vision, no dead ends to my walk and no time to grow me old.. just a life of peace and togetherness....
