My quartet members live 100 miles apart; does anyone have an engineering solution that will enable us to 'virtually' rehearse in real time ?

I'm not technically savvy, so please bear with me as I attempt to decribe in layman's terms what I desire: I wish to be able to 'virtually' rehearse in real-time with the other three members of my Barbershop quartet because we are all geographically separated from each other by approximately 100 miles in various compass directions and thus this creates a huge physical travel and time constraint when trying to get together to rehearse in person.. Seeing each other is not so important as hearing each other as if we were actually singing together in the same studio space. I know it is impossible to eliminate time delays; but since we all will be sitting in front of our computers (separately at our individual homes) when we attempt to rehearse 'virtually', but in real-time, is there a technical solution which would allow us to ADD specific 'tailor-made' FIXED time delays for each of our individual 'paths' into our communications links so that we will all be able to 'attack' and 'hold' the proper note durations together as a quartet when singing ? I am looking for the hardware/software/router/Internet provider service and all technical aspects involved to bea able to make this idea a reality. A user's comment regarding the recent Eric Whitacre VIRTUAL CHOIR piece made me think that there may soon be a solution which can make my 'dream' come true: four guys singing together in a 'virtual ' studio, hearing each other as if in 'real time'. Since I am not qualified to address this problem from the engineering perspective, can someone offer me some sort of engineering proposal on 'how' to meet this real need of being able to find a way to vocally rehearse together with other singers as if standing in the same room ? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this matter; I'm unsure as to whether I have got the crux of the overall problem understood adequately, but I believe you will be able to understand the ' general ' problem to which I am seeking a solution. Thanks !
