TED for kids (or high school students)- a TED conference, where students do the speaking, and let their ideas be known.

I've seen multiple videos and comments about how children teach each other (and ourselves) incredible things. Why not have a conference with high school students, letting us give ideas to each other, from someone who is actually our own age. Sometimes the most inspiring people are in-fact our peers, and people who are our own age group.I feel that if we could get our ideas to each other, we would listen in greater depth, and not be afraid to put our opinions out there. And hey, maybe the adults will learn some valuable information too. Who better to ask, about making our education better, than the students?

Aug 8 2011: This is a great idea. I'm in high school and have ideas and opinions to share. I'm sure so many others have as well.
    • Aug 11 2011: We can start with meeting other high school students on TED that have ideas and opinions to share, that can then lead to actually making a TED Youth.

Aug 21 2011: I think that's a great idea, I just wish that TED could have like a kick-off or something that can help kids learn how to actually hold a conference.
