What are some creative solutions to managing an aging population?

How do we sustain an aging population innovatively? Let's face it, we've seen it all, those posters encouraging more active childbirth, but what are the more innovative ways we haven't yet seen?

    Jul 29 2011: Chelsea, perhaps there's a better word for "managing". Some gurus say that in a system, we don't manage people, we manage things. We lead people.

    This is the premise for me for the need to transform our global systems into a more just and sustainable one.

    When our elders worked in our systems and as I work in our systems today (business-government-institutions) it should also mean that I had worked or I am working for my basic rights unitl I pass away - food, shelter, counseling work, healthcare and security.

    Jul 29 2011: One might be to not see the aging population as useless and keep them in the market place of work and ideas? Maybe less child birth and more focus on developing those we have here now?
