Could anyone teach me how to make a website?

I want to make websites for all kinds of stuff but I haven't really found any good way of doing it yet... Could you please help or direct me in the right way?

(I have very little/no programming skills)

Jimmy, check out the Joomla platform. This is what you're looking for. Joomla is very userfriendly, and you can easily update sites. I have about 30 sites running on that platform and I've never had any problems. I'm not a big programmer myself. No coding needed for Joomla...

Joomla has a huge user community and countless additional applications that are being created by that community. If you have a problem, you can ask questions in the forum, and you'll get a clear answer rightaway,

I recommend actually learning xHTML as it'll enable you to make what you want to make more accurately. Markup languages are fairly simple, it shouldn't take you too long to learn. Otherwise you could always use a program such as Dreamweaver which makes designing webpages accessible to all with no need for programming skills.

Jul 16 2011: I think that I'll use Dreamweaver for my next one, I know very little HTML and I don't feel like I want to put the time into it right now... Thanks for the tip about Dreamweaver, I'll check it out!

Jul 16 2011: I came across a similar problem myself this past week. I had launched my business but didn't have the skills or revenue to generate a site. Somebody sent me a link to Yola.com. I was blown away. Even with my limited understanding with how to put a site together within hours a presentable website existed.
