Could your personal/professional life survive 30 days without your cell phone?

We are so dependant upon cellular tech that many people would go crazy without the ability to instantly access others (calls, social networks, etc.) and accompanying data. Considering modern business practices and shrinking reliability on land-lines, do you think your personal or professional life could survive a 30 day outage?

    Jul 16 2011: Believe it or not I do this all the time. I refuse to have a cell phone attached to my hip. If I wish to know what is happening in the world, I get on the internet. I much prefer talking with someone face to face.

      Jul 16 2011: I wish I could say I do but, the convenience is nice. For people like us who are old enough to remember pre-cell phone life, I don't think it's too hard to let go. I wonder if the younger generations could do it as easily? Especially kids that have had cells since 8yrs old.

        Jul 16 2011: I am 66 & agree the youngsters would have a hard time. The only time my cell phone comes with is when I leave for a few days & go off by my self.
