Help reveal/stop "The secret world of child brides"

In National Geographic's latest issue there was a number on child brides, this is one of the bigger threats to human developments not to mention EXTREMELY Immoral and upsetting.

    Jul 13 2011: Unfortunately this is traditional in far too many countries, with children as young as 8 years. These marriages are even upheld in courts of law. It is an outrage. Often these marriages are arranged by the fathers, and even protestations from the mothers carry no weight, because the fathers are deemed the legal guardian. It is a unconscionable practice but thankfully it is getting more exposure and more people are speaking up. It is a blight on humanity as long is it persists.

    Jul 13 2011: As I live in India this has been a real issue here ... so sad to see young 12-13 yo go off with their new husband, often well in his thirties before he can 'afford' a bride! They did a huge campaign "Real Men Marry Women", it helped heaps.
