Translating the whole TED website.
I've been a translator for TED for a few weeks and I think it was a fabulous idea to connect so many people who can collaborate and contribute to the website, making TEDtalks available in different languages. However, I think we should apply this to all the TED website. In fact, the work carried out by the TED translators could be meaningless if someone who is not fluent in English can't access the TEDtalk in question.

it's real good idea but you should'nt forget that
it will has some problems,,if we want to translate all the ted website.
for example
1.number of idea,question, debate will go up and the quality of them will lose.
quality is one of the biggest trait of ted.that i selected ted.
but translating the talks is so good.

You are not the only one thinking along these lines! This remark has been made repeatedly in the past. I believe TED is giving it serious thoughts. Things are moving already, and the translation of the website will come eventually. However, it is a project that will take some time. In the meantime, enjoy the translation work!
