Where do you think consciousness comes from?

Science can give answers to many things, but consciousness seems to be an unsolved mystery. Why do you think people have consciousness? Where does it come from? Do you think it can be created artificially? How?

  • Aug 1 2011: Have you ever read or heard anything from philosopher and master thinker Peter Russell? "The Primacy of Consciousness"? Maybe it's eternal, and can never be created or destroyed... look at the assumptions every scientific exploration into consciousness has ever contained within them... it's deep man!
