How can i help my country (one of developing nations ) to be able to share other nations in human development?

After revolutions in middle east a lot of developing countries there now thinking in building their foundation so that to be able to take a leading role in human development through scientific research and building national projects and large companies ...how can me as an individual person in this society to help in this how to be more helpful to my society ?
and what do you think Egypt needs to be one if the leading countries in scientific research and education ?

        Jul 9 2011: I think that's an admirable goal that all countries should strive towards. To get to that point there are many criteria that a society should do their best to improve, simply putting money in schools and and universities isn't enough.
        I'm not too read-up on Egypt so I can't say what I think you need specifically, but working towards a stable democracy is perhaps one of the best ways of helping.
        Remember that it's all connected and doing things that increase, say life expectancy, Is really good for education in the long run.
