"High-pop" literary Author?
Hello everyone, I am a young man who seeks to establish himself as a political voice through the role of a writer. I am currently in the process of trying to develop a style, and after much thought, believe that to establish myself as a writer I need to attend to a large audience, without compromising my values: thus the use of the concept "high-pop". At the same time, I seek to explore the important themes of life, liberty, morality, mortality, time and the such. I was wondering if you know of any literary works which remain accessible while exploring deep issues? Any authors who are masters at simplifying complex issues into good prose? I'm really at a time in my life when I'm searching for role models. Any help would be great!
