Jul 6 2011: One of my favorites was/is Birdia's conversation "Aliens exist." http://www.ted.com/conversations/1660/aliens_exist_1.html
It was among the first conversations that truly engaged me and I found some amazing TEDsters on it!

Jun 30 2011: Although there are many brilliant TED Talks available, that's an easy choice for me: "You've never seen data presented like this. With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, statistics guru Hans Rosling debunks myths about the so-called "developing world."

The world is full of colours and shades, yet many people see only black and white. With almost 3 million views this video is also in the Top 10 of the most viewed TED Talks of all time :)

      Jul 1 2011: Hi Ray,

That is one of my favorites as well!
Although, I was asking for conversations, do you mean the commentary/conversation that's linked to his talk?

        Jul 2 2011: Hi Jimmy!

Whoops, I have to admit that I didn't pay attention to the difference between Talks and Conversations. Many apologies for that! Awww, how embarrassing :( I never miss to read the comments to a video and recommend them in general, but I don't have a a specific thread in mind.

Regarding Conversations, Laurens Rademakers from Belgium asked a few days ago why music touches us emotionally: http://www.ted.com/conversations/3796/why_does_music_touch_us_emot.html . This is a fascinating question! We ask for the purpose and reasons of consciousness, religion, pain, happiness, death, life, the universe and everything, but music? I don't remember having heard that one before :)

Jul 4 2011: Hi Ray, don't be to hard on yourself, we all misinterpret information sometimes (some people even do it often!)
I haven't had time for conversations in the past few days but I'll check it out as soon as I can!
