Plastic is STILL an enabling technology.
Plastic was off to a nice start... it makes everything lighter, faster, and cheaper.
It can be considered "green" because it makes lightweight products and lightweight things are more economical to ship or move... (auto industry and shipping/ packaging plastic)
Companies that produce plastic waste as a normal course of business can benefit hugely if they can recycle waste back to pure hydrocarbons
