On Karen Armstrong's Charter for Compassion-What about eastern philosophies and traditions?
This talk was about making religion universal, but it only focuses on combining the three main monotheistic religions of the western world. Although Karen Armstrong acknowledges the compassion teachings of Buddhism, she fails to mention its Hindu roots- Hinduism as an estimated 820 million adherents. How can we bring their beliefs into this world project of coming together? What about the many other religions across the globe? Where can they fit in?

I see /feel/ hear a bit of a touch base on what you are asking...but other then attending her Vancouver Peace presentation (2009 Sept )
I haven't noted wether other "Non-Abrahamic background" organizations have signed up on her "Compassion" mission. If you do please share.
I will say that, while HHtDL also sat though her Vancouver presentation, it set the seed for his organizations publicatiion, "How to be Compassionate". And what a seed it is!!!
