subconscious training

capture the target individual, load them up on whatever sedating drug is available, train their subconscious to react to certain elements of reality that happen day-to-day. coinciding with virtual out-of-the-realm-of-possibility or leading them to believe in a certain basic psychological war-fare principal in such a case, would lead to the individual giving up any information during the capturing process, and also give better means to understand the individual in order to practice reactions over and over again in a virtual training session.

the training could/can get quite advanced, such as counting a certain number of seconds before reacting, but the reactions are limited to simple knee-jerk reactions such as (but not limited to) blinking or looking in a certain direction.

this method does not require much money, or resources, just time.

the same method could be applied to training oneself, how this is accomplished i do not know, but i want to hear suggestions.

  • Jun 10 2011: This suggestion seems to me to exploit the most significant social characteristic of our species: that we are the only hival hominid species. The minimum conditionioning which all normql humans get occurs in and about the cradle, and is imposed by whatever passes for that person' s caretakers. This much is therefore so deeply embedded as to create mental (psychic) chaos if It is ever significantly opposed by equally strong countervaililg conditioning. It is the foundational preparation for the group minds that will eventually capture each of us and thereafter impel us to identify with those exact groups. If those groups identify other groups as enemies, we're off--- thus all of our wars, terror strikes, Crusades, jihads; this last list is endless, opening onto an indefinite future. It rules out any possibility whatever for the "One World" ideal of social engineering. For a convincer, try to write a list of all the group minds with which you, my reader, identify. Are any of those loyalties strong enough to impel you to pick up deadly weapons to protect and enhance them? Well, that is the entire human condition.

Jun 13 2011: perhaps exploit is the right word - but i would prefer to use "take advantage of."

the conditioning that we have would probably have to mean a sound proof environment, or, atleast an environment where sounds can be misconstrued.

if we were to identify with all facets of society, we would eventually become apart of them - the idea here is to do just that - to identify with environmental factors taking into account all facets that are available without causing (too) much harm to any party involved, but such a stake is necessary to make us better understood. this goes without saying that we (you, i) would best be suited to a role that is not necessarily flawed, but overcome or 'overloaded' to a point where organised chaos reigns.

the future is peace, once knowledge prevails. atleast one can hope ;)

May 25 2011: Griffin! Hello- I think of you as the idea man.

I guess I never anticipated that you would come up with an idea for interogation, though. Maybe I need you to clarify your question a bit for me to grasp it as a whole but I will take a stab at sharing what I perceive to be the first problem with your idea.

This is a field that I have really studied (subconscious or gut level thinking) and it is not quite as easy as popular myth suggests. In fact, to get to the subsconcious realm of processing you have to get to .0005 miliseconds of flash exposure for even a single word and the reaction to it to be measured. The problem with even investigating this level of awareness is that even computer screens refresh at a rate that is slower than that.

May 25 2011: the way i figure it is to remove all doubts and possibilities that the interogatee will not comply or react when say, a certain sound is heard. i think the way to do this is simply repetition - and i also believe that the human ear/eyes take in a lot more information via the subconscious than is commonly held to believe.

if they are not compliant, i would believe one method would be tricking the individual that another person at the interogation scene is on their side. i'd suppose one could be dreamt up from the individual's mind and be 'virtually' at the scene as a distraction tool - then feeding the individual a complex idea such as that the virtual 'friend' can communicate with them in a way that can not be detected - of which is also complex to add to the distraction.

i believe a key element is keeping the individual distracted and thinking, not giving them enough time to consider disbelieving.

what i mean by a virtual environment is not through a computer at all - what i mean is via means of tricking the interogatee into believing they are in a certain environment or at a certain date in the past/future in order to change their mood into an unstable one (from the interogatee's point of view) and all memories associated with the actual interogation can be deemed false by the interogatee.

a common (i would guess) thought associated with the memory would be to dismiss the memory as a dream or to not talk about it at all due to fear of being labelled crazy, or even a made-up thought during interogation could be inserted. perhaps allow them to dream it up.

i also think that over time (years) the knee-jerk reaction will change slightly if the certain sound is heard frequently, or if the certain location is passed, or other key element to react to occurs.

on a side note - i'd try an experiment - on an individual (myself?) of a sine wave sound at multiple frequencies at once systematically to determine which frequencies i can hear. maybe one seems internalised.
  • May 25 2011: I think all of us train our subconscious all the time by the choices that we make everyday. Choose one thing for long enough then it becomes a habit or ritual.

May 25 2011: this is exactly what i mean, training oneself's subconscious by means of repetition - what i aim to do is train my own mind to do exactly that and utilise time available more efficiently.
