Can we make TED the next Social Network for Good?

I'm a huge advocate of social media and I love TED. It's a brilliant community that never ceases to inspire and motivate me to do what I can to help change the world fo the better. The question I have for you is, "How can we make TED.com the next social network for ideas worth spreading?'

We have a message. We have a platform. We have social media, but how can we make the website more a community of action and sharing?
