should we lose our ego or just become part of a collective ego?
After this talk, should we lose our ego or just become part of a collective ego? I think it would never be easy to lose one's ego with consciousness as the self is always engaged. Why not adopt the idea of Attar's 'simurgh' or the collective ego where collective identity and growth takes an upper hand than individuals? Each helps the other to improve, grow and live peacefully. What's your stance? Take it more as a discourse than a debate. Thanks.

What I'm thinking that is in the minds of the most when they hear about :"collectiv ego"( something which don't exist , there is just interest in my view ) is just a kind of warm feeling , something like when are more people togheter.
Compassion if that means to lose something what's yours for others , that's very scarce happen .

As for a collective ego: If I understand you right, you mean with collective ego a system or society here the common goal stands above the individual. Is that correct ?
If so, then it wouldn't be so new, because, at least in theory, that would in essence be the idea of Marxism and communism.
