What period of your life were you the happiest?

Do you consider the happiest part of your life to be from your youth, the present, or still to come? What caused this joy at that point in your life? Why does it no longer exist?

I'll start: The happiest period of my life was my youth because of the blissful ignorance of childhood and the limitless worlds of imagination my friends and I constantly frolicked in. It's a unique phase that we all only experience once.

    May 13 2011: The happiest part of my life was when I realized that I could choose to be happy! And from then on, I've been just as happy in every present moment! :)

    But I do love the innocence & blissfulness of childhood
