Lots of Indians have presented innovative ideas here, India is increasingly contributing new ideas in cyberspace, health care, education, technology, food and all kind of field.

May 3 2014: I believe you mean patent rather than copyright. Copyrights do not protect ideas. Patents are time consuming, potentially expensive, and potentially hard to get.
      • May 3 2014: Danger:

I stand corrected. You are right. My limited understanding in the field.

        Thank you

May 3 2014: There are many startup firms and incubators in India. Here is a list of 50: http://inc42.com/magazine/resources/50-amazing-startup-incubators-and-accelerators-in-india/#axzz30btS4VBS

Find some people you can trust and work with to turn your ideas into reality.
  • May 8 2014: Put an idea out there and if it is good, people will use it. Being honest most ideas are stupid, silly and full of holes - it is the hammering of those ideas to come up with something practical that people use. Simple small ideas create great products.

May 4 2014: By the way the copyright laws changed several years ago also. Now anything on the web or in any kind of public printed form is considered copyright protected without any further action required. However Danger is right if you are looking for semi-enforceable protection of any idea you may need a patent. However patents have huge draw backs also, for instance anyone can read the patents filed and simply change the process or improve it somewhat and take you idea to market. Point in case, next time you are in Walmart or a grocery store look at how many products are similar to name brands. These are products that are patented and a large corporation simple put a different name on them (often referencing the original for comparison of prices) and then produce there own version under a different name.
So, the real protection is to bring your product to market faster and cheaper and corner the market before someone else beats you to the punch.
The only way to keep a secret is to not tell anyone. That is the approach Elon Musk is using to build SpaceX, he knows that if he patents something, immediately everyone in the world that wants to know does.
