    Feb 4 2014: Your post remind me of what a french humorist called Alphonse Allais used to say
    "to solve the problems of the cities we should put the cities in the countryside"
    more seriously if many cities are becomming bgger and bigger , it is because poeple can find jobs there when they have difficulties to find the jobs in small cities and in the countryside.
    Our job is to developp the technologies , public policies ....... in order for these mega cities not to be "crowded, dirty, smog, ...." as you mentioned
    There will not be a single magic solution but many innovative solutions have to be found to improve to quality of life in Megacities.
    for instance intelligent t shared private transport can drastically reduce traffic in some cities and be more efficient than public transport for some arreas.
