What is happening in your body when you are doing yoga that makes you feel better when your done?

I just did yoga, and I felt more energized, and I could think straighter when I was finished.
Is there a chemical in your body that yoga increases to make you feel this way... Why does it happen?
Just curious.

    Jan 30 2014: I've been doing yoga for more than twenty years. More oxygen, more (inner and outer) silence, more balance, the feeling of your body exists (daily quick life makes us to ignore our body exists), the gift of a relaxed pause made to ourselves, the listening of silence and a thousand more.
    Yoga and physical exercise (not at the same time, but often in the same day) are for me the perfect solution.
