What is your most favourite place in the world? If its your country, why should people visit?

So I'v visited a few countries and have been around my own country a few times. My most favourite places have been those rich in culture, great people and fabulous hearty food. What is your most favourite place? Tell us about it and why we should visit.

  • Dec 13 2013: I agree with Colleen the people and sights are great everywhere I have been.

If you want to see America I would suggest a road trip. Get yourself a Prius fill it with gas, pack a tent and sleeping bag, put your bikes on the back, and hit the road. The freedom of the open road is exhilarating and at $2.75 a gallon for gas and 90 Kilometers per gallon in your Prius there is nothing to stop you from driving from Savannah to Seattle down to San Diego (Don't forget Yosemite) up to Minneapolis (my favorite) across Northern Michigan and on to Niagara Falls and Down to Washington DC. Then start off in a different direction. In Minneapolis don't forget to rent a canoe and paddle on the chain of lakes that skirt the edge of Down Town.

Do not underestimate how far it is across the country
