How could this invention add to the understanding of chemical bonding?

As Taylor explained, his invention shows hydrogen with an extra neutron that is similar to the proton chain of the sun. In addition, he also explains about his fusion reactor that creates medical isotopes. Based on this, there is a better understanding of how the result of chemical bonding is useful and what it could mean.

  • Nov 6 2013: Hydrogen with a neutron is called deuterium, with two neutrons it is call tritium. Neither isotope destroy stars as Star Trek: Generations would have you believe, but they are both well researched. As is their synthesis in relation to atomic reactions. TED loves it wunderkinds, but really, they aren't adding anything that isn't already known.
