My "nudge" is to recycle teddy bears and give to those children who are have nots.

My idea has been in the making for over 10 years, thanks to my son, Sam's idea. It is a result of 9/11 and the bombs going off in Israel, mainly in populated areas. My idea is to have children decide that it is time to give up their teddy bears if they no longer feel the need to hang on to them. They are to donate them to my cause. If they can, they are to fundraise and offer these funds to help pay for the shipping to Israel. My partners, Betty and Ed Wolfe, meet however is bringing the toys on a plane to Israel at Ben Gurion airport. The toys are then brought to their daughter, Debbie Shkedi at Meir Hospital for distribution. There is a current need for 2500 toys per month. I am fortunate if I can send over 500 toys per month. I need help in figuring out how to collect more toys and ship them more regularly. Thank you beary much. Rabbi Claire
