Existence of an ultimate, inscrutable, unanalyzable "Subject" as opposed to the "Object" world, implying an entity beyond scientific study.

I should probably start by explaining the words "Subject" and "Object". Subject is the self-referential observer of phenomena. Object is everything that is amenable to observation.

Is the Subject, which is single and the source of all observations, be beyond observation, logic and experiment? As someone said, "How can one study that by which everything else is studied? How can one observe the observer?"

Now, I am not talking about the mind. There is this self-referential awareness beyond the mind, and from which the mind starts up.

Sep 26 2013: If something cannot be analyzed, then it probably has no influence on the world. otherwise, the signals could be analysed...

Furthermore, you give the 'subject' some analyzable properties:
    - whether it is single (a singularity? )
    - whether it is a source (something must flow out of it...)

Observing an observer: try a mirror or a webcam: you can observe yourself...

Sep 23 2013: The objective, when rendered as human experience, needs subjective context in order to make that particular experience whole. That seems to be an imperative of human observation, when all senses are taken into account. That 'whole' will vary from person to person as an interpretation of the same thing - so therefore, the object is also likely to vary. Only the dispassionate observation of an automaton or machine could see an object as a pure object.

I too believe that subjective experience is an entity beyond scientific study. Furthermore, the understanding of how we observe is more understandable and accurate through the arts than it is through the sciences. Only the arts can cope with the uniqueness and the individual ways we interact with the world.
