Peace begins within each person, if we want world peace, we start in our homes.

Many people today speak of peace in the world, is to work for the world to have peace but from wrong points. It must begin in each person, inside and then have a home full of peace and harmony. This is the first school of peace, but if we go out from our homes sick, graduation will only be outside.

Sep 15 2013: Firstly we must start peace in our heart because if there isn't peace within, there won't be peace without. Secondly, it comes the time to our homes and then to the society. Step by step to reach peace in our world.
  • Sep 20 2013: Yes,I couldn't agree with Ira Brazhda more:)If we expect a peaceful world, the peace should come from our own hearts at first.then home,county,community...
  • Sep 15 2013: No, not in your homes.
It must start in your heart.
How many times have you walked past a beggar and felt your heart close?
Or some other form of human condition that you close yourself off to?
Not aware of your heart closing? Then become aware of it.
If you do and it closes, you may not have love in it and there is no peace until you do.

Sep 15 2013: Sometimes not giving to the beggars might be the loving choice.

        How?
So choice is to do nothing?
I'll try and watch the video you linked.

          Sep 21 2013: Hi Random,

There was another conversation on how to help beggars and homeless that closed recently....if I am not mistaken, I think you participated in that one also.
Perhaps reading through the comments there might help you get a rounded view of why I answered this way.

I think that each of us have had differing experiences, and we live in different cities and towns. A one size fits all solution is not always the right choice.

I do feel like you that oftentimes we 'close our heart' to other's sufferings and needs.
There are many wonderful loving people in the world Random. But we are not perfect.

A loveless heart truly does not have peace, like you say.
This one thought, in and of itself, is worth our time and reflection.
