Are Diversity Iniatives hindering the idea of diversity itself?
Is the swelling phenomena of "Diversity Iniatives" in current organizations actually selling people short on what being diverse truly means?
A diversity Initiative is a strategic plan or response to an issue of diversity. In other words, advertisements and high up "encouragement" to hire or maintain certain demographics in an organization or workplace.
Are those 'cookie cutter' ads with four people from different backgrounds, equal gender representation, and different physical characteristics really showing us what diversity is?
Diverse: 1.differing from one another.
2. composed of distinct or unlike elements or qualities

So, in turn by having Diversity Iniatives, we are becoming less diverse? is this a paradox, problem, or a principle?
