Would you rather be the next Micheal Jackson (more likely to be miserable). Or the next Justin Bieber (still able to make a lot of money)?

Micheal seem to be miserable all his life, he spent that last years of his life trying to beat the young genius image that he once was.
Justin seem to be more happy, because he is too smart to know people are talking behind him.
Those are two equal option. No choice is better than other. I think both are the same. It's just the other form of life. But what would you rather choose, and why?

http://www.hulu.com/watch/35641#i0,p0,d0 Here is a link to an anime named Mushi-shi, it is very peaceful, it's kind of on the Justin Beiber side. If you have time, I recommend you watch it, and tell me about your thought.

Aug 3 2013: If you are a genius you have the obligation to serve society, but if you are a fool, you get to smoke all the weed you want. :))))))) I think...

Aug 4 2013: serve society? really? you mean the world has 2 parts, fool people and geniuses.however you asked sth else.
you said "miserable" not serve society!!
and nobody is obligated to serve sth,

Aug 4 2013: Let's take a Nobel Prize at an example, let's look at it as an ultimate way to serve society. To get that prize, you have to do a lot of learning and training. Doesn't seem like you will like to get the most happiness, isn't it?
Otherwise, you can choose to be the cool guy in high school right now. But it doesn't seem like you are going to be very helpful, isn't it?

Chances are, you could win the lottery, but you are most likely to invest that in education in hope of be more useful in helping people. Or you could be a fool and spend it all in a stupid car to get more chick.

What I mean is, a genius or a fool in my way of though is not define by by his/her IQ. For example: a Wall street worker is very rich because he is very smart, but he doesn't help any one, so he is a fool for he only wants to be happy himself. But now, he has to worry about losing money, or about his son in law may be a gold digger, so he may not be very happy, but that's is not likely to happen, and I call him the fool.
In the other hand, If a man spent 50 years of his life on researching on a vaccine that could save millions, and even though he may not find it, he is still a genius. And he spend all that time, not with his family, but with his research, so he is not likely to be maximize his happiness, but he just might find the vaccine.

You are more likely to choose path, but if you can do both then that's great, but most people are not that lucky, so you have to choose the path and take the chances. So head or tale?

See the point I want to show here, you can't see the future so you can only choose one path because you are playing with chances.

Aug 4 2013: If you take the obligation to serve society, you are worthy to be call a genius, the best guy, the good guy, whatever.
If you don't want that obligation, you are only worthy of a fool, no matter what's you IQ score.
      • Aug 4 2013: A genius has only an obligation to the truth. I disagree that they are obligated to serve society.

Aug 4 2013: A genius has the obligation to the truth to serve society. I mean he can be happy nonetheless, but he's mostly likely miserable.
