The detection rate of Thermograms is greater than Mammograms but digital manipulation is the best.

1. In terms of cost development and availability as well as detection rates doesn't digital manipulation beat all tests hands down? Each medical exam can include a person trained at felling for and locating nerve endings and noticing abnormalities. Why is this training not more widespread? see article re rates of detection, 3% missed in thermography, 10%-30% for mammograms. http://www.johnsonmedicalassociates.com/Resources/HealthArticles/BreastThermography/tabid/72/Default.aspx

And an additional 5.1% by digital manipulation http://books.google.com/books?id=AKMPx1S8-B0C&pg=PA41&lpg=PA41&dq=breast+cancer+detection+finger+rates&source=bl&ots=mdbrkpUl15&sig=RYUIFenCB3n1qoeLJnjnnbKSJNc&hl=en&ei=kS6jTbiJEsLu0gHh_ZTzDg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=6&ved=0CD8Q6AEwBQ#v=onepage&q&f=false

2. The higher detection rates of tomography do not include any radiation.
The following site argues that the two tests are meant for detecting different kinds of abnormalities, If so why are not both used?

interesting but it does not say efficacy of each just that neither are over 99% sidestepping the actual inquiry.
