I wonder, though it is highly probable- if Gavin is aware of the artist who creates indoor clouds.

Can't remember the artist's name - but I believe he was creating displays inside the Royal British Library this past spring...?

Jul 18 2013: Yes, R.L. I do know of Berndnaut's photographs. They capture a cloud that he creates in the room and is only present for a few seconds. Some of the more fleeting real cloud formations are only apparent for a few minutes. Generally, I don't run around trying to find a camera to 'capture' a beautiful or rare cloud formation these days. I prefer just to stop and enjoy it, and then let it go.

Jul 18 2013: thanks Michael. And yes, of course...but cloud dissipation happens and can happen quickly in real sky too. Did you go see the exhibit?

Jul 16 2013: Berndnaut Smilde is his name.

The difference is that the clouds dissipate quickly, so the beauty is only fleeting, immortalized by modern digital photography.
