Jul 16 2013: Go for it! Just remember that I was an early supporter of your quest when I'm applying for a job/internship later down the road :P

Jul 17 2013: Dude we need more talented people, I think this is a good direction. Just a hunch.
      • Jul 17 2013: Now you are making sense If only we still had the meritocracy. Good luck but you would need a great deal of luck.

Jul 17 2013: Not luck. Vision. A great deal of compassion combined with logic can go a long way.

Hey George, if you REALLY want to work at IBM, learn user experience design and computer science and front-end development.

Jul 17 2013: Oh yeah, hey, come talk to me about pointers for stuff like that. I think I know what's up in finding the right job ;)
      • Jul 18 2013: I'm 63 it's not too likely.

Jul 18 2013: You're 63? You should go talk to more kids or something!
      • Jul 19 2013: Excellent idea. I hope it helps.

Jul 19 2013: Kids will agree with whatever you say haha
      • Jul 20 2013: James that wasn't my experience when I tried substitute teaching or a middle school sunday school class.

Aug 1 2013: Well, those are middle schoolers, they're not as gullible lol
      • Aug 2 2013: James good point as I get older maybe I am losing perspective.

Jul 19 2013: Only when you find yourself, can you help others find theirselves.

Jul 17 2013: Do you want to become the CEO of IBM? Why exactly?
    • thumb
Jul 17 2013: The right questions lead to the right answer. Keep going!
  • Jul 17 2013: I'm googling your name in six months to see if you were right.
Do you think this TED conversation will help your cause?
    • thumb
Jul 17 2013: ok, I actually don't really know the answer to this question.

There's a fine line between self-confidence and arrogance. The post I made about me becoming CEO was arrogance. HOWEVER, my hunches always seem to be good, and I've been picking up things very quickly.

What I need the most right now is experience, tone down the brain vomiting, and get back to reality and connect with those around me first. There is a right time for everything, but now is not the time to become more disconnected.
      • Jul 17 2013: James, from what I have read, I think you can do anything you set your mind to.

        Good talking to you!!

(I'm still googling your name in six months LOL)

Jul 17 2013: Being a CEO could be fun. Let's find out...
  • Aug 13 2013: Please, shoot for Apple. They are only concerned about their stock price. They are no longer shaking things.

  • Jul 20 2013: Forgive me for not wishing you luck. Being ceo of a company like that is its own reward, but frankly if you make it, it will do nothing for me.
  • thumb
Jul 19 2013: Well, thats brave and i like your daring idea.

Jul 17 2013: It is an unwritten requirement that you also serve on the Council of Foreign Relations while steering IBM. Are you ready to participate in that role?
    • thumb
Jul 17 2013: I'm ready to do anything.

Everything makes sense to me now. This is no exaggeration. I'm feel so relaxed, but at the same time I'm relaxing and thinking. This feels good. This feels right. This feels natural. I think I can trust my instincts.

Jul 16 2013: Do you have a specific plan for ousting the incumbent at that time?
