If you were asked to sum up your life's work, right now with one sentence, what would that sentence say?

So often we are so "busy" with all we believe we have to do and yet we miss the big picture, Without attachment, what is the one sentence you want to share about your life experience.

Mine would be, "remember to be kind to yourself and laugh every day."

Jul 18 2013: Most days I think I'd have done better if I'd quit & gone on to do something else instead. But that doesn't sound as good for general consumption on TED!

  • Jul 17 2013: C'est la vie; no one really knows what its there for, but try to make the most of it anyway.

I've long ago decided that I haven't a clue what the big picture really is, and that no one else really knows either (though a lot of them think they do).

Jul 15 2013: Mine might be "Make the world a better place." I really like yours, though, teresa, because it's more accepting. Do you think mine is wrong since it's not as accepting?
    • Jul 16 2013: Greg, I am not here to judge you, I accept and honor you for your courage to reply.
  • Jul 15 2013: sounds like a life's philosophy not a life's work
  • Jul 15 2013: Wayne, thank you for your response, my example was just that mine, perhaps my life's work is of a more philosophic nature.

From my experience there is is much judgment on Ted, what is this about?
I chose to live in self acceptance and not self improvement.
