What do you guys think of conformal cyclic cosmology?

I find Roger Penrose's ideas about CCC convincing but I was wondering if you think it effectively explains things like the extremely low entropy state of the early universe, the thermal regularity of the CMB, and if you accept his counterarguments to cosmic inflation. (For a concise explanation of his theory check out the interview he did with Ideas Roadshow: http://www.ideasroadshow.com/issues/roger-penrose-2013-07-12)
