Are you ready for the Google Glass generation?

Google Glass brings online to a whole new level. Imagine billions of people walking around recording and uploading video "live". No more secrets! People at work, people at play, people exploring and all that data available live to everyone. Another level of video search called "live search". If you want to find out what someone is doing simply type in their name and you can see what they see and do.

Summation: What did we learn about Google glasses?
A) A lot of you like any technology that will bring more information within our reach, information is power.
B) Lots of you are concerned about privacy issues. You like your freedom.
C) Most of you are concerned about the government getting and misusing our information.
I congratulate all of you for your well made points and I have learned what a awesome group of intelligent analysts we have here at TED. TY one and all.

Think of it this way: You are watching each other, the government is watching you, you are watching the government, the government is also watching you watch the government, the government is watching the government, the government is also watching other governments that are watching our government and God is watching all of this an laughing her ass off as she thinks "at least they are easy to entertain".

  • Jul 31 2013: The gossip starts here.

Will Google try to extract itself from the clutches of the NSA and DHS Prism programs?

Will Congress's delay until September to debate shutting down US phone and computer
snooping spying surveillance programs give the Military a chance to forestall any change?

Will the Military Partner's those Giant Corporations in the telephonic, computer and weapons fields
give up the lucrative Army IA, NSA, and DHS, and other secret US Government cloud snooping
    spying and surveillance programs

Does anyone care what the names of these Giant Partner Corporation are?
    ===
The cloud sounds great. But has anyone read the Microsoft employee Memo?
The part down about the middle where the CEO states who the two customers
are? You and I, and... and... ???

Jul 31 2013: Corporations have been trying to escape the clutches of the government since George Washington was around and they finally have. They simply bought and paid for the government in cash, not there cash of course, our cash (that is a whole other subject).
Every time a company starts doing well the government drops by and asks for their cut (I’m not talking about taxes, you know what I mean, they make them an offer they cannot refuse). Every major company in America has been through it: Energy, Transportation, Education, Medical, Agriculture, Aerospace, etc. and now computers! Just think of all the cabinet positions, everyone is run by a CEO and everyone is the run like the families in the Mafia. Everyone represents a company or more that tried to fight the government and lost, they all lose sooner or later. The Mafia did not go anywhere, they just sold there dealings to the gangs, turned in there pinstripes for Gucci then run for office. Who would vote for the Mafia? “It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes”- Joseph Stalin

if you spelt your name with another "i" Heinline,
I would have probably known you in the past.

“It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes”- Joseph Stalin
Then - it was true. Today probably not, but for 3 very good reasons.

Both Parties pay enormous Advertising Bills to the Media.
        They control the Media.
Both Parties select who will run for any office.
        They control the Politicians.
Both Parties split the Government down the center.
        They control the People.
        ===
However, like the Rome of 68,69,70 olden times, Government may
        have overlooked the Military.

Now that the Military has all the money it needs, and the weaponry,
and can spy, and snoop on the peoples and the government peoples
without restriction, and have their own secret FISA court to approve
what they want, 780 requests to spy, 779 approved to spy, 1 withdrawn.
And without anyone allowed to defend or represent the people....,
..The time is right for a very touchy situation.

The Congress says they will debate the NSA matter in September.
After their August vacation. It might be too late.

So I suppose the choice is between the Advertiser, and the Snooper.

The Snooper doesn't need to advertise, and doesn't need your vote.
