Are you ready for the Google Glass generation?

Google Glass brings online to a whole new level. Imagine billions of people walking around recording and uploading video "live". No more secrets! People at work, people at play, people exploring and all that data available live to everyone. Another level of video search called "live search". If you want to find out what someone is doing simply type in their name and you can see what they see and do.

Summation: What did we learn about Google glasses?
A) A lot of you like any technology that will bring more information within our reach, information is power.
B) Lots of you are concerned about privacy issues. You like your freedom.
C) Most of you are concerned about the government getting and misusing our information.
I congratulate all of you for your well made points and I have learned what a awesome group of intelligent analysts we have here at TED. TY one and all.

Think of it this way: You are watching each other, the government is watching you, you are watching the government, the government is also watching you watch the government, the government is watching the government, the government is also watching other governments that are watching our government and God is watching all of this an laughing her ass off as she thinks "at least they are easy to entertain".

  • Jul 24 2013: why do people think google glass will destroy privacy can't people walk around with a camera?
    • Jul 29 2013: That camera has access to the internet in real time, so you're feed is broadcasted live. The government will be able to tap into it at any time they please and the American people will just bend over and take it. They already have access to your phone, email, and social network accounts which is where most of your lives/thoughts are, unless you're one of the few who are trying to live outside the matrix. They plan on allowing UAVs over the nation for surveillance. Cameras over head and cameras on the ground, you're not left with much really.

It's happening so subtly and you're not seeing it.
