Are you ready for the Google Glass generation?

Google Glass brings online to a whole new level. Imagine billions of people walking around recording and uploading video "live". No more secrets! People at work, people at play, people exploring and all that data available live to everyone. Another level of video search called "live search". If you want to find out what someone is doing simply type in their name and you can see what they see and do.

Summation: What did we learn about Google glasses?
A) A lot of you like any technology that will bring more information within our reach, information is power.
B) Lots of you are concerned about privacy issues. You like your freedom.
C) Most of you are concerned about the government getting and misusing our information.
I congratulate all of you for your well made points and I have learned what a awesome group of intelligent analysts we have here at TED. TY one and all.

Think of it this way: You are watching each other, the government is watching you, you are watching the government, the government is also watching you watch the government, the government is watching the government, the government is also watching other governments that are watching our government and God is watching all of this an laughing her ass off as she thinks "at least they are easy to entertain".

Jul 16 2013: Are you kidding me?

Technology will advance a lot. But individual privacy will be maintained. The government might have access to it but its purely for safety reasons.

Anyway our lives will never be as public as you say it will.

There is force in this world that helps keep online privacy and also keeps the internet free. Its the huge community of anonymous members.

I can't wait for it tbh. I even pre-ordered the developer's version but I couldn't get it sadly.

Waiting for the final commercial sales to open.
    • Jul 16 2013: Simon: "Are you kidding me" was the right phrase. Do you seriously believe what you are saying?! The whole point of all this tech is to eliminate the "anonimity" of the huge community. The governments and corporations have limitless resources, stolen from the huge community, for the express purpose of doing this, for the usual control freak reasons. Oh, sorry "National Security" lol.
