Are you ready for the Google Glass generation?

Google Glass brings online to a whole new level. Imagine billions of people walking around recording and uploading video "live". No more secrets! People at work, people at play, people exploring and all that data available live to everyone. Another level of video search called "live search". If you want to find out what someone is doing simply type in their name and you can see what they see and do.

Summation: What did we learn about Google glasses?
A) A lot of you like any technology that will bring more information within our reach, information is power.
B) Lots of you are concerned about privacy issues. You like your freedom.
C) Most of you are concerned about the government getting and misusing our information.
I congratulate all of you for your well made points and I have learned what a awesome group of intelligent analysts we have here at TED. TY one and all.

Think of it this way: You are watching each other, the government is watching you, you are watching the government, the government is also watching you watch the government, the government is watching the government, the government is also watching other governments that are watching our government and God is watching all of this an laughing her ass off as she thinks "at least they are easy to entertain".

Jul 16 2013: Funny, that's just the way I would describe Iphones or cell phones for that matter..

Jul 16 2013: I got the response to your response to my comment (I think . . . ). How would we know that Google Glass would be obnoxious or unbearable? Pretty soon the customers of Google Glass eyewear will demand that they become indistinguishable from any other kind of fashion eye wear. Right now, you can spot someone wearing Google Glass eyeglasses. But how long is that going to last?

If I could afford Google Glass, I'm not sure I'd get them. But if I could afford them, I would want them to look EXACTLY like any other eyewear that I own or might choose to wear! Why draw the negative attention to yourself.

And why not have all the advantages of wearing Google eyewear w/o anyone else knowing or suspecting! WHAT are the implications of that?
