How will you spent the last few hours of your life?

If today is the last day of you life, you will be dead after 24 hours?what will you do?which one would you choose to spend the last hours with you?
There are alway something happens suddenly, and we do not have a choice unless to face. Time is limit, how to spend you last time is a quite disturb question.

    I would like to commend you for your wonderful outlook on life and people. I enjoy reading your uplifting and positive comments and like to imagine what life in this world would be like if everyone shared your philosophy.

    If you don't mind, I would like to share a bit of my own philosophy that I have developed over my 75 years of trying to make the most of my life.

    You cannot expect more out of life than you put into it.

    Without exploration, there can be no discovery.

    You have to experience the bitter things in life to be able to appreciate the sweet things.

    Passion must be tempered by aptitude, abilities, opportunities, and common sense.

    Pride must be tempered by self-assessment, humility, and a love for others.

    Be a realistic pessimistic optimist. Prepare for the worst; hope for the best;
    and accept whatever comes in between.

    You cannot change the inevitable, so don't waste your time challenging it.
    But be realistic and not fatalistic in assessing what is truly inevitable.

    Maintain balance in your life, and you will have fewer falls.

    Negative thoughts pull you down, weaken you, and eventually destroy you.
    Positive thoughts have the opposite effect. As an old song goes, "You have
    to accentuate the positive; eliminate the negative; latch on to the affirmative;
    and don't mess with Mr. In-Between."

    Every moment of discontent is a moment of potential happiness that is
    lost to us forever, and can never be reclaimed.

    If you are concerned that your glass is half empty or that it is only half full,
    perhaps, all you need is a smaller glass.

    In closing I offer the the following two quotations (or close facsimiles of such):

    “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” - The Golden Rule

    “A stranger is just a friend that you haven't met yet.” - Will Rogers, American humorist/philosopher

    Farewell friend; hope I didn't bore you.

    May 31 2013: I wrote this story today. I wrote it in response to a two line comment from another TEDster.

    My wife was once a young person like you. She was when I met her. And I suspect that you and she share many similar experiences. Even the bad experiences in some way. My wife was like you. My family is like yours. And my child just like you. You live in a beautiful country. You are surrounded by a very special nation. Please be who you are. Always. And believe. It is always who you are to believe.

    You are young. You are beautiful. And you are free. And because you are young, you have a future. Don't waste that gift. I am glad that you know about Pandora and her box. Keep that one closed. Put it away. But keep it safe. That is the story of Pandora and her box. But especially keep that box closed & safe & hidden away from everyone but yourself. And don't be like Pandora and open it. That was her mistake. You are the protector and guardian of that box. So be careful. But be alive. And be free. God gives you that blessing when you are young. And it goes away when you are old. You are strong today in ways that you do not understand; but you will when you are old. So think about that. It can be so hard to be strong, when you feel yourself getting old.

    So please keep yourself well and safe. Be smart, not stupid like so many others. One day when you are old, you will find that box again. And on the day you find it, you will learn something very important about how you have lived your life. For when you find that box again, you will find it open. And that will be a mystery, because you will know that you did not open it yourself. And if you have lived well, and have done all that I say, and all that you know you should -- there will be a treasure there inside that open box.

    You are young. You are beautiful. And you are free. Live well. And find that treasure some day. Remember what an old man tells you today. And be that treasure. Amen

    On the day I die, that is what I will know
  • May 31 2013: I think I can do nothing when that day is coming. Maybe just waiting, and playing memery over and over again in my head.

    May 26 2013: I would thank everyone I can for their contribution to my life. We have completely forgotten to thank our nearest and dearest for their precious time spent on us, so I think the best way to spend your last few hours is to let people know they are worth living!
    p.s. it's better to do it earlier than at the end of your life! hurry up, friends, and hug your relatives and friends)

    May 26 2013: saying goodbye and thanks to people, probably hearing from them the things they liked about me
  • May 25 2013: I would like to memory all people I love and die in peacefully
  • May 25 2013: Talk about a wild good time without harming anyone of course. e.g. no drunk driving, etc.
  • May 24 2013: I want to learn how to live with compassion, being useful, and full of love .. So, when my last few hours come I will be doing the same and will feel no regret afterwards.
