Africa doesn't need food programs; it needs rainwater programs to alleviate drought.

To solve the problem in Africa we need to create a solution to the problem. The food never reach the intended people. Due to Corruption and Greedy individuals and Governments.

Closing Statement from Yusuf Mallie

What Africa and the World is the Generosity of Creative Innovation and Inventions. We must not only speak about change we must try our utmost to make life better. But solving the problems of Climate change. Not matter all our Food programs and good intentions but with Global Pandemic of Climate change. All this means nothing as we did not solve the problem or solve the problem of famine and drought, we only temporary alleviated the pain and suffering. We have to reverse the process but understanding the problem and factors dealing with the problem. Please read my article trying to solve the problem of the World, with waste management, energy creation, marine food for sustainability, water creation, employment, housing crisis and so much more. Apr 29 2013: Africa needs her citizens to rise up and demand good governance. No meaningful development can take place in a continent that tolerates the rule of mediocres.
At times one is tempted to think of quick-fixes and short-term solutions; but at some point citizens of the numerous dysfunctional African states would have to rise up and say a courageous ENOUGH! to the dim-wits in power.
It is better to take weeds out by the roots than to continously trim the leaves of such.

Apr 29 2013: @ Feyisayo I agree with you with Revolution. But how can there be one if the Citizens of the Continent are starving and dying. The citizen know there government are corrupt, but they cannot see any light but Government bail out because they are starving. Its a endless cycle of Corruption due to need. If there is endless supply of rainwater, it will lead to vegetative farming, this will lead to Nutrition (Combating malnutrition) end of drought and famine. With food gained naturally now the citizens can think and can see light besides being beggars to government. Unemployment, drought, famine, diseases, malnutrition....... these are breeding centres for corruption. Between the have's and have nots. Its a vicious cycle, with no clear favourable result. No matter how good intention candidate have at elections. Money and Power corrupts. Who suffers the impoverished and helpless. My suggestion is help nature restore the balance. If those government eager to see their citizens become productive and proactive in the economy. Would investment in long term sustainable solutions. There I gave a solution in my next conversation please find the time to read. I provide solutions from Marine Farming, new type of sewage systems, Creating rain, creating renewable sustainable energy, providing effective Fossil Fuel Free solutions to the Pandemic that is African Extinction. I do not just ask the question but I provide viable solutions through innovation and invention. Feel free to read my Article: http://www.ted.com/conversations/17976/creating_a_next_generation_pla.html Feel free to comment. With creative ingenuity coupled with technology we can alleviate the plight of Africa. But we need to invest in Solutions to Question. I have been struggling to create just one of my solutions. Next generation Propulsion system due to funding. http://www.ted.com/conversations/18018/next_generation_self_generatin.html. I have seen its power I just need to harness it, being Creative also.
