When to write a book?

"You should write a book about that"...a common in response to an experience shared with another...but should I? What makes a story so compelling that it needs to be authored and published?

  • Apr 25 2013: Writing, overcome by strong feelings about a topic can be frustrating.
Finding the words becomes embarrassingly tough.
Here is an example of writing to a newspaper when overcome.

    WAR again?
Has our Government lost it's mind again?
Does the Media still insist on Backing the Hawks of War?
Have we as a People, forgotten our compassion for peace?

    Has America become such that
    the prisoners at GITMO
    Riot in Despair?

    Are we LOST?
Expressing wonderment seems to work the best when in the moment.
Looking back when applying an edit, may not show the same intensity.
    Am I making sense?
