Apr 2 2013: ted is getting better at it. the final solution would be not even grant the licence to obvious new age quacks (like a chiropractor).

Apr 2 2013: chiropractic can heal some back pain and neck pain just as any other kind of manual therapy / yoga / psychical exercise can. for all other illnesses, it is as good as homeopathy. here is a proposal, what ted should write to a chiropractor when he/she applies to organize a tedx event:

dear mr/ms X. do you use chiropractic to heal any other symptoms than neck pain? or do you think it is useful for that purpose? regards, ted team.

Apr 2 2013: yes, see above. i don't care who is hurt. something either works or does not work. feelings don't change it.

ted forum moderation is not perfect (far from it), and also overwhelmed. i can assure you, they delete stuff. they delete me quite often.

Apr 2 2013: "perhaps as a person who stereotypes individuals based on unsubstantiated opinion"

wikipedia article? please tell me that it is part of the anti-chiropractic atheist conspiracy too.

        "must meet a single standard"

must? under what moral or law? if i have a blog (warning! example! not real case!), i can delete a comment whenever i want. i don't have to follow any standard. i can also call anyone a quack for selling snake oil. if you don't like it, you can leave. my blog is my blog.

Apr 3 2013: your reasonable argument was to point out that my words might fall under libel laws. then now you cry attack and threatening? with straight face? i call chiropractors "new age quacks" and your answer is to threaten with legal procedure, and i'm abusive to you? are you serious?
