vacuum train

Hai my name is david...i want to share my thought....in a vacuum there is no air and aravity its true...first we have to think about trains now if train moves the air opposes the train and friction may decrease the speed of the train...my openion if we we made a rectagular long shaped box .in that we have to suck or remove the air .so that inside vacuum develops..if train moves and get the kinetic energy it doesnt stop because there is no air and friction ..so that once train gets energy there is no use of fuel or power it moves by only kinetic energy .. Inside train we must facilitate with oxygen ...we must take care about cavitation problem also .. Tracks must be magnetised tracks . Becos train runs at high speeds ..and fuel consumption two less and time saving and no fire accidents becoz out side less presence of oxygen ..and it runs more speed about 1000 to 2000 km per hour and more also

    Mar 9 2013: I know theire are many magnetic trains are their but my intensn is how to save energy and fuel..because now our running bye fuel only there is no alternative..magnetic trains also requires some energy..but here in vacuum there no use of excess fuel and time saving ..for example how to get speed of space vehiicles in space ..because there is no gravity and air ..so that i use these formula here..

    Mar 6 2013: haha so now it's even worse now there is air resistance and you also using it for propulsion when you're using this less dess air what is producing this pump (also is the pump on the train itself or somewhere else?) which now is working overtime because of the less dense air also is this like a subway with constant electric feed? and also thats wrong that's only if you accelerated instantly haha if you accelerated slowly they would be fine

    Mar 6 2013: OK there are MANY reasons they aren't doing this 1. the cost to make a completely air tight vacuum the entire length of a train would be Insane!! 2. it would cost extra money to turn the vacuum back into a vacuum every time it leaves this tunnel also it would have to start and stop at each end of this tunnel decreasing efficiency 3. even if they did make the tunnel where would they go? you think any country has the money to put every single train track they have now under ground in a completely air tight tunnel? 4.if you ever actually learned why supper conductors (which i guess you talking about when you said magnets) have no friction? it's because they are special materials brought down to VERY cold temperatures so what this means is along with this EXTREMELY expensive tunnel tracks in air tight tunnels it would have to keep the track bellow -100 degrees at ALL times 5. lastly what is the propulsion of this trai if it is floating on superconductors? a rocket? hahaha

      Mar 6 2013: You should have read my post below. It doesn't need to be air tight a pressure difference of 2psi is plenty. You pump the air from infront of the train to behind it. They really did it in the 1800s. It was dismantled because rats were eating the leather seals. BTW if you used an complete vacuum the train would accelerate so fast it would kill the occupants so just put partial in front of each vacuum.

    Mar 3 2013: What's wrong with trains and light rail? Compare these to cars,trucks, and horse drawn wagons. This would be some device that you are proposing. If you mess up what would happen?
